WHAT IS CONCEPT101?

​

Concept 101 is a conference event that aims to bring together the concept art community through lectures, networking opportunities, portfolio reviews and an afterparty. 
This event is non-profit. This means the tickets are free for attendees and the event is fully funded by sponsors who will be represented onsite.

WHY IS THE EVENT FREE?

​

As concept artists ourselves we, the organisers, are very aware of the benefits of going to professional conferences. However we also know that costs can add up very quickly and can prevent people from being able to attend. As such we have ensured that the event is entirely free for attendees so as to remove as many barriers to entry as we can.

WHO ARE THE SPEAKERS?

​

This year we will have 3 stages with a total of 17 speakers. We will announce the full line-up shortly!

​


HOW CAN I GET A PORTFOLIO REVIEW?

​

1 on 1 portfolio reviews will be bookable at the Concept101 booth at the event, make sure to come early to book it!

You will receive an entry ticket, one portfolio review of your choice and a super fancy t-shirt.

Please note that helping on the day will take time and we need motivated persons.

WHAT IS THERE TO DO AT THE EVENT?

​

The event will consist of 17 talk across one day. There will also be booths present at the event and portfolio reviews. Later in the evening we will also be hosting an afterparty at the same venue.

 


I CAN'T BOOK ANY TICKET?

​

Tickets are not available yet. We will open the booking system on the 29th of June.

If you can’t book any tickets then unfortunately the event is sold out! If any tickets become available we will advertise them on our Instagram and they will be given out on a first come first serve basis.

 


WHO ARE THE ORGANISERS?

​

Jules, Daniel and Stefan are 3 concept artists working respectively for Framestore, and Sharkmob. We are passionate about the industry and wanted to help provide opportunities to young artists that were taken away due to the pandemic.
